Joe Craggs, Marketing Director of Australia’s largest supplier of fresh pineapples Tropical Pines, announced today that one of countries most renowned chefs, Ian Curley is to become their official Pure Gold ambassador. “I am delighted that Ian has joined the team,” said Joe.

Ian is Executive Chef of the European group in Melbourne. Pure Gold pineapples will be widely featured throughout his menus, from breakfast right through to dinner in the European and City Wine shop, fruit cocktails in the iconic Supper Club and Siglo Bars, cold pressed juice at Spring Street Grocer, Kirks Wine Bar and the newly opened French Saloon. Ian also consults to Craig’s Royal Hotel in Ballarat where he has introduced them to the famous Curley pineapple tarte tatin and bombe Alaska and also features it in his fruit based desserts at Caulfield Race Course, where he also consults to.
Ian Curley is a highly regarded Australian chef and media presenter whose humble food philosophy, classic culinary skill and affable, no-nonsense approach have seen him win the respect of diners, critics and colleagues alike.
UK born Ian Curley is well known within Australia through his regular appearances on television. He has been a guest judge on Master Chef as well as having his own TV show, Conviction Kitchen, which on aired on Channel 7 and the morning show The Circle. He also does regular spots on Yes Chef, Postcards and other food/travel programs. Ian is well regarded on the international chef circuit being involved in many gourmet food summits and demonstrations. He is frequently quoted by The Age, The Australian and The Sun newspapers on all matters culinary, and radio listeners would be familiar with him from his guest appearances on radio 3RRR.
